I know I don't post here enough so the very few of you who take a look here from time to time have probably given up on me but what the hell...

Another opening!!!
This Friday - September 18th is the opening for the 4th Too Art for TV exhibit. The list of artists is hugenormous and it promises to be a great show. I'll be exhibiting 3 new paintings and a sculpture. I'm posting teaser thumbnails here as well as the 2Art4TV postcard which you can also see on my flickr page here.

Valentine Voodoo Plushies!

Between the winter weather keeping me couped up and being spent from painting for Too Art 4 TV, I've been busy sewing! For those of you who know, I've been making these little plushies for nearly 7 or 8 years. I've created this unique set of 16 voodoo dolls with a common theme of Valentines' Day :) Of course, a little voodoo never needs a special occasion- I just thought it'd be fun. So scrap the tired old teddy bear and swap it for something a little darker... I've posted extra pics of these to my Flickr page and have listed them on my Etsy shop. Thanks for looking and enjoy!

3 FEET HIGH SHOW!!! June 23

UPDATE!

Well folks, the 3 Feet High opening was last night and it was a great time! My PARENTS showed up - crazy. I wish I had a chance to talk to some more of the artists that showed up but it was SO hectic in there- which is a good thing really. So a belated "Great job everyone!". Good times. Fun with Funji

Finished up this little custom for ShinYoung Park - creator of Funji a little while ago and haven't had a chance to post it so..... here it is :) Also be sure to check back soon - I'm working on a custom Plushform for Shawnimals Rotogfugi show in Chicago this June and also a custom skatedeck show with Andrea at KneeHigh.Net at Maxwell's in Hoboken NJ this summer as well!

Detention Doodles

Ok, so it's a little sad to even complain about something like this, but I'm going out of my MIND with boredom here at my day job. During this calm before the inevitable storm I've decided to be a little productive. With so little else to do during the 9-5, I'm on my third lined notebook, my 5th set of bic pens (red blue and black) and my 4th highlighter. Weee! How I love office supplies. Anyway I'm gonna start posting some of these, as I like to call them, "Detention Doodles". When you see them I think you'll know what I mean. They are just one step below a pocket knife in the desktop or sharpies on your denim jacket... ooooooh yeeeeahhh - 'cept they pay me for this....... xo
