The Tulum Gallery is proud to present PulpO, an eight-person exhibition of new drawings and paintings by New York based artists in animation, illustration, and the fine arts. Showing together in a variety of styles and media, these seven artists draw from their backgrounds as representational artists to cultivate narratives influenced by pulp and comic-art traditions. Themes like science fiction, war, horror, the occult, exploitative stories, sensational iconography, and adventure are interpreted by this group with surreal, whimsical, and abstract flourishes.

I know I don't post here enough so the very few of you who take a look here from time to time have probably given up on me but what the hell...

Another opening!!!
This Friday - September 18th is the opening for the 4th Too Art for TV exhibit. The list of artists is hugenormous and it promises to be a great show. I'll be exhibiting 3 new paintings and a sculpture. I'm posting teaser thumbnails here as well as the 2Art4TV postcard which you can also see on my flickr page here.

Valentine Voodoo Plushies!

Between the winter weather keeping me couped up and being spent from painting for Too Art 4 TV, I've been busy sewing! For those of you who know, I've been making these little plushies for nearly 7 or 8 years. I've created this unique set of 16 voodoo dolls with a common theme of Valentines' Day :) Of course, a little voodoo never needs a special occasion- I just thought it'd be fun. So scrap the tired old teddy bear and swap it for something a little darker... I've posted extra pics of these to my Flickr page and have listed them on my Etsy shop. Thanks for looking and enjoy!

3 FEET HIGH SHOW!!! June 23

UPDATE!

Well folks, the 3 Feet High opening was last night and it was a great time! My PARENTS showed up - crazy. I wish I had a chance to talk to some more of the artists that showed up but it was SO hectic in there- which is a good thing really. So a belated "Great job everyone!". Good times.
